Gavin was employed as an Accountant for the Mount Gambier based Accountants KPMG, which was focused heavily on Audit work. When KPMG elected to withdraw from the area in 1996, Gavin purchased the business, thisbeing the 18th year in practice. Gavin also achieved a milestone in June 2013 having been in the Accounting profession for 40 years. Since purchasing the practice in 1996, the client base has increased significantly with Mount Gambier acting as a central point for a diverse range of regional clients in the manufacturing, transport, forestry, agricultural and retail service industries stretching from Tasmania to Perth and Darwin. The practice firmly believes in maintaining personal contact with all clients and provides a monthly newsletter to bring current developments to their attention.
